Frequently asked questions
Do I need a partner?
Nope! We rotate partners throughout every class, so you'll dance with everyone. Coming solo is completely normal, most of our dancers do.
Do I need any experience?
None at all. Our Level 1 classes are built for total beginners and start with the very basics: timing, the basic step and your first turns.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes you can move in and smooth-soled shoes (avoid rubber grips so you can turn easily). Bring water, you'll warm up fast.
Can I drop in, or do I commit to a series?
Both. Drop into any class for $25, or save with a 4- or 8-week series. See options on the schedule page.
How do I sign up and pay?
Every class on the schedule has a Sign Up button that takes you to secure Square checkout. You can register for a series or pay your drop-in there.
Which styles do you teach?
Salsa On1 (LA style) and Bachata are our core, plus open-level Salsa CaleΓ±a and Salsa Choke. Meet the team on the instructors page.
How soon can I dance at a social?
Sooner than you'd think, most beginners feel social-floor ready after just a few weeks of a structured series. Come find out!
